This is probably the last novelty we'll be able to appreciate in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3. Impossible for the moment to know if it will be available at the end of the season, but a brand new kind of mushroom has just been discovered. Difficult to guide you correctly in its search, because it's very rare — there is probably only one per game — and its position changes.
One thing's for sure: it' always gonna be in the mushroom area inside Weeping Woods. It will soon become your best ally as it will provide you with a huge amount of shield. To admit it, it's very simple: it's much bigger than the others.

Once in front of the mushroom, you'll have to do a dance to wake it up. This will have the immediate effect of accelerating its growth. Then you'll have to "feed" it with 100 wood. That's it! The mushroom has become your best friend. From now on, it will follow you everywhere, providing you with a continuous flow of shields throughout the game. Be careful though: it doesn't go in the water and moves slowly. Feel free to dance again to give it a boost.
