For a few days, rumors concerning a mobile game signed TiMi Games Studio are roaming the web. It was during the Pokémon Presents on June 24, 2020 that we finally had an official announcement!
Pokemon Unite
Pokémon Unite is a MOBA mobile developed by TiMi Games Studio and Tencent.
The fights will therefore be in 5v5 and it will be necessary to cross an arena (like in League of Legends), to reach the opposing camp and destroy it.
Pokémon Unite will be available as free-to-start on Nintendo Switch and mobiles. The cross-platform will also be possible.
Gameplay
Each player chooses his Pokémon (5 players) and must then leave from the starting point to meet the opposing players. The objective? Arrive on the other side of the arena and capture the camp.
No release date has been announced at this time.
TiMi Games Studio and Tencent
Tencent is a major Chinese player in the fields of advertising, the Internet and even mobile games.
TiMi Studios is a subsidiary of Tencent and develops games of various genres for PC, mobile and Nintendo Switch, including Honor of Kings, Arena of Valor, Speed Drifters and Call of Duty: Mobile from Activision.
