Mobile esport isn't very well known, but it's still a fairly significant phenomenon around the world. Big licenses such as Fortnite, Call of Duty and many others have already entered the market.
It's PUBG's turn to announce the first season of the 2020 Global Championship on its PUBG Mobile license and that the prize pool will total over $2 million.
All regions are invited to participate, including China. The championship will begin in November all around the world.
This announcement follows the arrival of the biggest update the game has ever had. The 1.0 patch brings new graphical effects and new more realistic texture.
