During the first weekend of the Black Ops Cold War beta, an eagle-eyed player spotted the potential return of supply crates to Call of Duty.
After the successes of the free post-launch content on Modern Warfare, many saw this as a major step backwards. Thankfully, Treyarch commented on the situation, revealing that it was a bug on the menu, and supply crates will NOT be returning when the game releases on November 13tth.
Supply crates in Call of Duty have often been a hot topic of conversion among the community.
Now we know that this is a bug, Black Ops Cold War post-launch content will be FREE which is great news for all players.
