Esports Hearthstone: Twitch drops for the Las Vegas Masters Tour

Esports Hearthstone: Twitch drops for the Las Vegas Masters Tour

The concept was tested during the World Championship in Taipei, and it worked pretty well — Twitch viewers will earn booster packs while watching the Las Vegas Masters Tour, 14-16 June. Viewers will receive 2 Rise of Shadows boosters, and will have a chance to receive boosters from other expansions.

Esports Hearthstone: Twitch drops for the Las Vegas Masters Tour

Already tested during the Taipei Hearthstone Worlds in April, Twitch drops are back for the Las Vegas Masters Tour. With its 350 players and $500K prize pool, this tournament is one of the biggest ever created on the Hearthstone scene. The Masters Bundle has been implemented, offering the opportunity to win boosters by watching the live competition.

Rise of Shadows and back to classics

After 3 hours of viewing (not necessarily in a row), your account will be granted a first Rise of Shadows booster. After 6 viewing hours, you will get a second one. Each hour after that, 1,500 viewers will get 1 classic booster.

It's very simple to get them. Link your Battle.net to Twitch if it isn't the case already, and turn on your Twitch account during those hours (PST):

  • June 14: 9AM – 8PM
  • June 15: 9AM – 8PM
  • June 16: 9AM – 8PM

You will have to, obviously, be logged in and watch one of those Twitch channels:

The last Masters Tour will be held in Bucharest from 18 to 20 October 2019

The last major competitive event of the year for this new Hearthstone Esport 2019 format - the European Masters Tour - will be held in the Romanian capital, Bucharest. A simple way to reconnect with the very beginning of the competitive game scene.
