With patch 14.50 that set the stage for Fortnite's arrival on next-generation consoles, the battle royale looks ready for the transition. Recently, content creator Patriota posted a lengthy gameplay video of Fortnite on Xbox Series X on his YouTube channel.
It features the graphic changes reserved for next-generation consoles, including a new look for the clouds and storm, a more sophisticated death animation, and much more!
Epic Games had already released the full list of graphic changes inherent to the transition to the new consoles. As well as a gameplay trailer for PS5. Microsoft's latest release was done discreetly, but these gameplay images reassure us.
Regarding skins, Epic Games was nostalgic by bringing out all the OG cosmetics — which were the default cosmetics at the launch of the game. The Throwback Pickaxe was offered to all players.
In the midst of an open war with Apple, Epic Games has every interest in taking care of its seduction operation aimed at next-generation console players. It's more than likely that these new devices will once again increase the number of Fortnite console players.
