Galactus isn't a cheap little villain, and we'll realize that statement directly in-game. The Devourer of Worlds is slowly emerging from the surface of the water, in the western ocean bordering Fortnite Island.
It's obviously dataminers who were the first to see two strange spikes coming out of the water at the edge of the map — following the implementation of Patch 14.60.
As we write these lines, the top of the great villain's helmet is beginning to appear clearly. Galactus will slowly and surely emerge from the surface, hour after hour. At this rate, it is likely that by the last weekend of November, the bust of the Devourer of the Worlds will have appeared.
The Devourer of the Worlds live event will be held on Tuesday, December 1st. It's likely to be a final battle against Galactus, where players may have a role to play to support Thor and the other Marvel superheroes in their mission.
Note that you can also follow the progress of Galactus' emergence in the Battle Pass menu. Here too the colossus is slowly revealing himself on the holographic map, and it's clear that its intentions aren't peaceful.
