The exact time of the next Fortnite event is now known: it will be Tuesday, December 1 at 1:00 PM (PT). The traditional countdown has appeared in the main menu and in the battle pass tab. It shows how much time we have left before Galactus comes after us.
To enjoy the event in real time in-game, you'll have to log in preferably thirty minutes in advance — to be sure to have a place. However, dataminers already warn us: it's likely that the maximum number of seats per server will be capped, and that not everyone will be able to enjoy the show normally.
During the last live event called The Device, the issue had already occurred, and many spectators had been left out. It'll be necessary to plan ahead on D-Day to put all the chances on your side. We'llgive you all the tips at the last moment to maximize your chances of getting a place.
Most dataminers are formal: The Devourer of Worlds will be the biggest event ever created by Epic Games. In terms of file size, it's twice the size of the largest event the publisher has been able to deliver so far. A real titanic task, mentioned a few days ago by Donald Mustard, the Worldwide Creative Director at Epic Games.
Finally, one last fun little detail about the countdown: it'll change in appearance as time goes on, to better signify the urgency and seriousness of the situation as Galactus threatens our world. Hypex is at the origin of this leak.
Apollo Island could well be overwhelmed by this massive and unusual event. There're many theories in vogue, but Epic Games is keeping the secret of its event — which could well be historic.
