A new beta test has dropped for Pokémon GO players in Germany, as PokéStop locations can now be suggested by Level 40 trainers.

Pokémon GO: PokeStop nomination, Germany

The rollout of the PokéStop nomination feature in Pokémon GO is spreading across the globe. Last time it was India, and now it has been made available in Germany.

As this is a beta test, only Level 40 trainers will be able to take part, as has been the case with most new feature tests Niantic have implemented.

PokéStop nominations allow Level 40 players to suggest places of interest that may qualify for PokéStop status in-game.

The protocol is almost the same as for Ingress and its Operation Portal Recon (OPR), which directly proposes that IRL players build and evolve the virtual world.
