A few days ago, leaks emerged regarding the next big Wild Rift event. One that will be focused on the narrative of the Ruin, the most important event in the development of Runeterra's history. We’ve already got a general idea of what to expect during the event thanks to data miner Canserol.
The Ruined King is making his presence known and it looks like Lucian and Senna will be the ones to defend against him. There’ll be a chance to unlock Lucian or Senna for free by completing a series of missions — as well as the chance to unlock cosmetics.
Here’s a preview of what might be coming to Wild Rifft during the Sentinels of Light event.
Profile Icons
The silver icon is expected to be available in the early stages of the event, surrounded by the Ruin. While the gold, characteristic of the Sentinels, will be in the final stretch of the missions.
Recall Animations
Though it might not be permanent, there will be a new animation related to the Sentinels.
Baubles
Ruin chains and Sentinel symbols will be available.
Sentinels of Light Champion Selection Chest
As its name implies, it will allow you to unlock one of the Sentinels — and it does not appear to be limited to the champion pair, lending more weight to the rumor of Akshan's arrival.
Light Sentinel Pose Selection Chest
This is limited to Lucian and Senna.
Sentinel of Light Emotes
The Sentinels of Light event will begin on July 8 in League of Legends, but we don’t yet have a confirmed start date for Wild Rift. We’ll keep you updated!
