Recently announced by The Pokémon Company, Pokémon Wonder is a new adventure that invites Trainers to play with Pokémon in real life. You will have to search for these creatures in Yomiuri Land, a well-known amusement park in Japan.
Don’t expect “Pokémon meets Jurassic Park”, however, because this is clearly different. Pokémon Wonder is more like a guided route in which participants will discover a group of Pikachu in the wild.
Also, this attraction has nothing to do with Pokémon GO or other titles from the franchise.
Pokémon Wonder: Find creatures in their habitat
In Pokémon Wonderland you have a clear objective: spot more than 50 Pokémon in under 90 minutes following two routes: the Ancient Stone Wall and the Whispering Bamboo Forest.
The group of Trainers won’t be big, with a maximum of six individuals participating at the any single time.
The attraction will be open to the public on July 17. It is an experience designed primarily for children, but adults can participate, too. They can work together and catch Pokémon hiding in places like the classic high grass from the video games.
Participants need to read investigation notes and check the environment for clues.
For those who can travel to Japan in the near future, it’s worth mentioning that tickets for adults cost about $39, while the younger ones need to pay around $13.
More than 50 Pokémon are waiting for you inside these two routes.
