We recently told you about FIFA 22 having a restrictive DRM (Digital Rights Management) system in place — the description on Steam stated a “1 machine activation limit” — but EA has now confirmed that this is not the case. 

An EA spokesperson has confirmed to Eurogamer that FIFA 22 will not have a limit of installations on PC. The Steam description has been updated to reflect this change. 

We confirm that there are no installation limits for FIFA 22 on PC via Steam. This was incorrectly listed and the limitation has now been removed. We apologize for the confusion and thank our community for realizing the bug.

You can install your copy on as many PCs you want as long as they are associated with your Steam account. 

FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition is available for pre-order, and includes Early Access from September 27. The standard edition will be available on October 1. 

FIFA 22 Career Mode will allow you to create your own club

The classic option from previous entries in the franchise will feature in FIFA 22, with some as-yet unknown changes.
