I recently told you about Nahida, the youngest of the archon gang added a few weeks ago in the Genshin Impact sweater and the success of her banner. Indeed, a good way to see if a unit is popular with the community is to simply inquire about the sales generated by its banner.
Whether or not the second character's banner works and helps push the numbers up is one thing, but most of the time it's the new unit that generates the revenue.
With this new patch and the arrival of the Nomad one might wonder if Scaramouche is up to it.
Scaramouche can't come close to the behemoths of Genshin Impact?
The last Banners that added new characters were mostly big hits and Nahida even broke the record set by Raiden Shogun. This kind of linear increase in income generated by a new unit could force to believe that any interesting new unit could beat the previous record, however Scaramouche is far from that since on its 5th day it is “only” the 5th place .
Why a failure then? The numbers are very good, no mistaking it, on the contrary. One could simply be disappointed with the figure by comparing it to the hype around the character. Scaramouche has been making a lot of noise for a very long time and it was expected by a large part of the community, which therefore clearly influenced expectations in relation to the revenue generated.
A new record soon?
As said before, breaking a sales record takes a lot, and not just hype, however we may well have a new challenger in the coming weeks with part two of the banners. Indeed, Ayato and Reiden should both arrive in the summons and many players could have saved on the Scaramouche banner to put all their chances aside for the shogun and Ayato.
It will take a few more days before we can confirm this idea, but the return of Reiden Shogun should definitely make some noise .

While Elden Ring has just won the prestigious title of Game of the Year at the Game Awards 2022, Hidetaka Miyazaki seems to have very big plans for his game. Would a big DLC be on the program from FromSoftware?
