Are you that kind of League of Legends player who mutates his entire team at the beginning of each game? Would you rather play alone than tempt fate with potentially toxic mates? Then this new option introduced with patch 9.14 is literally made for you.
For now, even though you can disable the [All] chat, you still need to manually mute all of your allies. However, this dark era is now a shade of the past. Because our ordeal will end with the release of the 9.14 patch, next week.
The announcement of this new feature would almost make us forget the delay of the patch. With patch 9.14, you will have the option to permanently disable the [Ally] chat. Alongside the already existing option which allows you to disable the [All] chat, this new feature will finally allow you to play in a blissful and peaceful environment. The option will be persistent, in the same ways as smart-cast — meaning it will be activated from game to game.
