Orichalcum Veins are a node found in the wilds of New World which players can mine for Orichalcum Ore.
A fiery red color, they're naturally only found in the higher level areas. Don't try to farm these if the local enemies are overpowered!

What do you need Orichalcum Ore for in New World?
A Tier V metal used in Smelting, mining Orichalcum Veins will give you ore that is used used to create Orichalcum Ingots. This is then used in a number of Arcana, Armoring, Weaponsmithing, Engineering, Jewelcrafting and Furnishing recipes.
In order to mine Orichalcum Veins, you'll need a Mining Pickaxe. There's a level requirement of 175 to mine them, and you'll be able to track Orichalcum Vein nodes from Mining Skill Lv. 200.

The best locations to farm Orichalcum Ore in New World
As the top-tier Ore, Orichalcum is hard to find. Focus on these clusters for quicker farming.
Southern Ebonscale Reach
The first of two sources in the territory, this one is a quick in-and-out. Fast travel into the Pilgrim's Rest shrine and head east, crossing over to the island of the Forbidden Palace. Do a lap around the three islands, collecting nodes as you go.
Northern Ebonscale Reach
A little more spaced out, you can start at the Traveler's Precipice shrine and collect the nodes to the west, before heading south to the Water Shrine for a few more.
Make your way along the winding path to the west through the Mountain Temple and Thunderking Grotto, before emerging near the Ebonscale Reach settlement.
Reekwater
Not the best area for power-farming, there are a few useful nodes in Reekwater. Start at the Time's Advantage fast travel point and then head southwest to the nodes along the ridge, before backtracking north.
There are a few more nodes north of the Sunken Aspect, annd you'll end not too far from Reekwater Hamlet.
Great Cleave
Most of the nodes in this region are focused around the large mountain in the west. Travel into the Cleave's Point Outpost, then follow the winding path up the mountain to Balebane Maw.
Take a left to continue upwards, past the Mangled Pox Gate, where more nodes await near the summit and Nihilo Visage.
You'll have to backtrack down the mountain, unless you want to climb and jump off the other side!
Shattered Mountain
The highest-level area is naturally the best place to power-farm Orichalcum.
There is a massive cluster around Ambusti Superior to the west, while the valleys around the West Illurrmin and Upper Harrow will prove fruitful too.
Thankfully, both areas are close to the Old Myrkgard Shrine for fast travelling in and out.
