Theories on future classes
The following is obviously not confirmed, but we can try to guess which are the 2 classes that remain to be introduced in Diablo 4.
Let's start by eliminating the Fetishist who look too much like the Druid with his pets, and therefore, to a lesser extent, the Necromancer. Even if it will probably arrive via an extension.
A second distance class should logically be introduced in order to offer alternatives to players. We are strongly expecting a return of the Demon Hunter, or, failing that, the Amazon. A small clue in this direction is an image that shows different weapon concepts for Diablo 4. Please note the presence of a crossbow, while none of the existing classes seem willing to use it. Obviously, this does not exclude the possibility that this image may include weapons used by NPCs and monsters. One of the leaks of Diablo 4 which had the 3 starting classes listed the Amazon as well as the Paladin in classes to be revealed.
The second class will most likely be a sacred class. This could be the return of the Monk (one of the areas of the world refers to the latter), or the Crusader or even the Paladin, as indicated in one of the leaks above. It is difficult to determine with certainty which class will be chosen by the developers, but if we really had to choose only one, we would tend to bet on the Monk. In addition to the index listed above, the Barbarian and the Druid are already quite heavy and brutal classes, the Crusader is of the same order, while the Monk does more in finesse. The Paladin has a slightly more defensive and refined gameplay than the Crusader (at least in terms of image). The important thing is to offer variety to players, so these would seem to us to be fairly logical choices.
In your opinion, what will be the other 2 classes of Diablo 4? And which ones would you like to see introduced?
