It wasn't announced by Epic Games, but a rather substantial update was deployed on Wednesday, January 29 in Fortnite. It's not the v11.50 update — which will be the last big content patch of the season — scheduled for early February. This update fixes some bugs that were annoying players on the battle royale, and adds some content on the Save the World mode.
Also, and this is the most interesting thing, this update has allowed dataminers to anticipate some of the changes brought by the 11.50 patch and the start of Chapter 2 Season 2.
List of patches deployed in v11.50 (early February)
- Fixed the edit problem when the player looks down.
- NFL team outfits will have the numbers displayed on the front instead of the back.
- Fixed the zip line bug.
- Fixed matchmaking issue for some beginner console players.
List of patches deployed in Season 2 (February 20)
- Fixed problems browsing the friends list.
- Fixed the problem that led to raising his randomly fallen allies.
- Fixed a problem on the loading screen.
- Fixed the crash problem in the "joystick settings" menu.
