After the Fortnite Champion Series Grand Finals that took place last week, everything indicated that the competitive season was over. This isn't the case since the FNCS Invitational will take place on May 9. This will be a Solo tournament with a new scoring format. The competition will bring together the best from each region:
- The top 100 players from Chapter 2; Season 2 PC FNCS Finals
- The top 100 players from Chapter 2; Season 2 Console/Mobile FNCS Finals
- The top 100 players from Chapter 2; Season 1 FNCS Finals
- The top 100 players from Season X FNCS Finals
- Up to 100 players invited directly by Epic
On May 2, online Open Qualifyer will occur for all the Champion ranked players. The first hundred will qualify.
Scoring System
Each elimination scores 4 points.
A total of $2 million will be divided among the best. Find the exact distribution on the official website of the event. This announcement comes in a difficult context for Epic Games and should bring back hope to professional players and competition amateurs.
