Riot Games recently launched a series of tournaments for different regions of the world. T1 and Nerd Street Gamers teamed up for North America to offer a $50,000 tournament, which was won by Team SoloMid.

T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Valorant Showdown

After unveiling its strategy to develop esports on Valorant, Riot Games began to conclude partnerships with esports organizations around the world. North America had its own tournament hosted by T1 and Nerd Street Gamers. It took place June 26-28.

Team SoloMid finally won the competition by defeating T1 in the Grand Final. reltuC and his team left with the $50,000 promised to the winners and the title of champions of the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Valorant Showdown, the first major tournament since the official release of Valorant.
