The collaboration that has caused the most ink to flow in the history of Fortnite? This is undoubtedly the crossover between Epic Games' Battle Royale and Naruto. The publisher surprised everyone with this extraordinary partnership at the end of 2021. And fans will be able to rejoice again, because six months later, Fortnite x Naruto is making a comeback !
Tonight, Epic Games announced the first big event of this season, which will be titled Fortnite x Naruto Rivals . This will arrive in France on Friday , June 24 .
New Naruto skins on the menu?
It is more than likely that new skins featuring key Shonen characters will appear at the end of the month, through this event. Earlier today, ShiinaBR already relayed an image taken from a Japanese magazine that could well reveal the next Fortnite x Naruto skins.
The tweezers are in order here, but according to the dataminer the image is authentic and does mention the "Fortnite x Naruto" collab, in the lower left corner. It was also via Japanese magazines, at the end of 2021, that the first leaks of Naruto skins had appeared, before the first collaboration.
A massive event?
Interestingly, instead of just teasing Naruto-branded cosmetics, Epic Games is teasing the whole thing as an event in its own right. We can expect a partnership that goes far beyond the store. Weapons in game, quests, why not a new town on the island... Anything is possible!
Fingers crossed that this "Fortnite x Naruto 2" is a little more extensive than the previous volume which, apart from a battery of skins, lacked a little visibility once you jumped from the battle bus.
