Available since Friday March 25, 2022 on Nintendo Switch, Kirby and The Forgotten World invites you to complete various more or less complex levels by taking possession of many powers. At times, you will have to face Bosses in order to access the next worlds. In World 4 of Winterwald, you will come across Kirby's most famous rival: King Dedede!
How to defeat King Dedede?
You can watch our two-minute walkthrough video to understand the different patterns of this Boss. Remember that you can always go into the level with any of your powers (just go and select it in the village Armory). Thus, we advise you to take the power of improved Fire or Ice in order to cause perpetual damage to King Dedede even when you do not touch him.
Also, don't forget to dodge his attacks well (by remaining pressed on R or L and using the joystick to move). This Boss mainly uses his hammer, creates shock waves then, in phase 2, will use a large concrete pillar to create an electric wave on the ground.
King Dedede: what are the secret missions to complete?
As with every level, you will need to complete four secret missions in the Surprising Beast King level:
- Swallow King DaDiDou's hammer (just before he takes a pole)
- Finish without protection
- Finish in 1 minute 30 maximum
- Finish without taking any damage
This will allow you to collect additional Waddles-Dees to improve your village.
Note that once the main scenario is over, King Dedede will be in your Village, next to the Coliseum. By talking to him, you will receive the blueprint for the Double Hammer.
