A fast and brutal means of transport — and well-known to fans — Portkeys are present in Harry Potter Wizards Unite!
These objects will be found in Portmanteaus, which are the equivalent of Eggs in Pokémon GO.
Portmanteaus require Keys to open, and you will also need to walk a certain number of kilometres to unlock them.
Once the canister is open, that's when the serious business begins. You will then obtain the famous Portkey.
Here the developers really spoil us, using augmented reality to literally immerse us in the wizarding world.
By activating a Portkey, previously placed on the ground, you will reveal a magical portal to an iconic location from the series:
- Borgin and Burkes
- Dolores Umbridge's Office
- Dumbledore's Office
- Hagrid's Hut
- Hogwarts Express
- Ollivanders
- Severus Snape's Office
Enter the gate to venture into the secret room, explore it and collect the treasure within. You can usually find Foundables, Ingredients and XP.
Once you have gathered everything, you will receive other rewards.
