Borderlands 3 — Unending Magnificent, how to get this legendary weapon

Have you always dreamed of having a weapon with infinite ammunition? This dream is almost within reach with Vladof's gatling pistol with its excessive magazine and absurd firing rate. This makes it a weapon of choice with some class builds.

There's something for everyone's taste in legendary weapons in Borderlands 3, and Unending Magnificent will certainly satisfy some people's fantasies by offering a pistol with a firing rate and an absurd magazine. The latter can reach 140 balls by default, and much more with some talents, for example those of Moze the gunner, which combined with some others of these talents, makes it possible to do rather funny things like in the video: Pull endlessly and without ever recharging. Free shots and reloaded bullets after a review literally allow for endless shooting. Other characters and builds can benefit from this high rate of fire. The damage is not very significant individually, but the fire element helps to make it a formidable weapon against hordes of small monsters like the Rakts.

A funny detail when you end up recharging is that your character has to change 3 different chargers.

How to get it

We were lucky enough to get this weapon twice in just a few hours apart, both times on the planet Promethea, in the Atlas HQ area at level 50 in Mayhem 3 mode. The first time in a small crate, the second time on the boss, Kategawa. As the area is almost devoid of enemies after finishing it in story mode, and yet it is full of large red chests, this is an excellent farming point.

Statistics

As we found it several times, we were able to discover some variations in the statistics, the size of the loader in particular is quite variable, the first version had 140 bales in stock for example, while the second version has only 115.

This weapon also exists in several versions, the element can be fire or acid, and the secondary mode can be an unnecessary taser or a second gun to further accelerate the rate of fire. In other words, this second version is really better.

  • Damage: 190
  • Accuracy: 49%
  • Handling: 58%
  • Reload Speed: 6.0s
  • Fire Rate: 13.95/s
  • Magazine size: 115
