Microsoft and Mojang had announced it: two DLC will be added to Minecraft Dungeons in 2020. By purchasing the game, you could therefore choose the basic version, or the Hero Edition allowing you to access future expansions 'for free'.
The first DLC had been leaked and then officially revealed in June and we knew that players would be able to explore a new biome: the jungle. Since then, a mini-trailer has been released and the date has been confirmed: July 1.
Minecraft Dungeons: Jungle Awakens
- Release date: Wednesday July 1
- Warning: remember to update your game on D-Day
- Price: upgrading the base game to the Hero Version costs around $10

Here's a list of what the first DLC for Minecraft Dungeons will add:

A new NPC will also be available in your camps: the Mason. It will allow you, in exchange for some emeralds, to increase the power of your equipment.
