One of DOOM Eternal's ambitions is to be much more replayable and satisfying than its predecessor, and it doesn't just rely on multiplayer and the new BATTLEMODE for that.
The singleplayer campaign includes a new game mode called Master Level that allows you to redo a mission from the campaign, but in a much more difficult format.
As mentioned above, this game mode can be combined with any of the difficulty levels.
The concept is simple, but effective. Tons of additional demons will be present — including specimens of the most powerful races you normally only encounter much later in the campaign, such as Cyberdemons and Doom Hunters. All levels have been designed to accommodate large demons.
For the moment, we don't know what special rewards will be obtained by completing a Master Level.
DOOM Eternal will be released on March 20 on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
