In line with the third round of Champion's League matches, EA have released the highly-anticipated UCL cards for FIFA 20. This year marks a departure from tradition, and the UCL cards have the exact same stats as the regular gold players. We believe this is due to complaints that early In-Form cards were made redundant when UCL cards were released in previous years.
Now, you can find the blue UCL cards and the regular gold cards of each selected player in packs. There is only a cosmetic difference, but blue UCL cards seem to fetch a higher price on the Transfer Market.
We have also seen the release of limited-time UCL Objectives, SBCs, and Marquee Matchups. Don't worry, we've got the solutions below.
UCL Cards
Who's available?
Any player in a Champion's League team is available as a blue UCL card in packs. So Messi, Ronaldo, Salah, Allison, everyone. Except Manchester United players. You get the picture - if they're in the Champion's League this season - they're in!
How do I get them?
UCL cards are available in packs or on the Transfer Market.
What's the point?
We know there's no stat increases this year, but UCL cards still have a use. Here are the main uses:
- Cosmetic difference. Let's face it - they look great in your team line up.
- Sell for a higher price. UCL cards are currently selling for considerably higher prices on the Transfer Market due to their rarity.
- SBCs. UCL Squad Building Challenges throughout the season may require UCL cards to complete (more on that below).
- Dynamic Ratings. This isn't confirmed yet, but in FIFA 19 players received boosts to their stats based on their progress through the competition.

UCL Objectives
Finally, there are three UCL Objectives to complete before they expire at 11.00 am PDT on October 24. The reward for completing all three is a Prime Gold Players Pack (untradeable).
The easiest way to complete these challenges is by starting with European Nights. Grab your two UCL players, and complete the other objectives (although, with all the GKs we've been seeing, you might have trouble scoring goals). Then, put the UCL player rewards from these challenges into your SBC. You'll have to be quick, but the rewards are worth it.
