Almost every week, Rogue Company deploys updates to implement or modify certain features found in the game's closed beta. Following the roadmap that the developers had unveiled a few weeks ago, this week's patch 0.50 will introduce the Rogue Mastery system.
This feature will enable players to unlock unique rewards and cosmetics as they win matches, master, and level up each Rogue. This is a system that Hi-Rez Studios has already used in their FPS, Paladins, with the Champion Mastery.
Basically, by playing the same character, you'll increase a mastery level. As you gain experience and advance in your levels, you'll earn Rogue-specific content. We don't yet know what these rewards will be, but we can easily imagine skins, emotes and sprays.
This new feature normally marks the end of phase 2 of the roadmap. After that, developers will add equipment mastery, a battle pass, and an advanced ping system. No specific date regarding the implementation of these functionalities.
