You know the story. You join your friends on the hottest game and while you're still level 6, it's hard to put numbers on their level because it's near infinity. You have to be faster to catch up to them, and it's better if they help you! In Dauntless, the highest level is 50. Reaching it will grant you the title of Master Slayer, and other rewards unlocked with the levels. So how to progress faster in the game? You have options!
Behemoths
It's not a surprise, one of your main sources of experience will come from the hunts. Patrols will be the most interesting ones for you, because it will grant more XP and also more resources (as orbs to upgrade your stuff).
Masteries
It is in forging that one becomes a blacksmith. In Dauntless, the mastery system will allow you to win XP easily. Concretely, the more you'll master a weapon, the higher its level will get. It will be the same for behemoths. It's an easy way to win XP, that's why you have to vary the behemoths, build the most stuff and use as many kinds of weapons as possible.
Hunt pass
Spending some platinum can be a good move to get more levels fast. The hunt pass will grant you a 50% bonus mastery XP in addition of other bonuses. This XP bonus is not the only source of experience, since it will unlock weekly challenges that give many experience points.
Crafting
Killing won't be your only thing to get you to higher levels since you will also be able to craft... a lot. Weapons, armors, potions... will grant you XP and unlock mastery objectives in some cases. In addition to the XP, it will allow you to collect sets with elementary resistance which will be significant allies.
