The first opponent you'll face when you head to the Pokémon League and challenge the Elite Four, Aaron uses mainly Bug-type creatures. Here's how to beat him.

Having made your way through Victory Road in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you'll come to the Pokémon League.

Four tough opponents stand between you and the ultimate battle, the first of which is Aaron.

How to beat Elite Four Aaron in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

When it comes to facing the Elite Four, you're going to have to use your full team. It's a big step up from the Gyms, which you can easily stomp, and Elite Four Pokémon are all going to be above level 50.

As such, it's worth taking the time to train your Pokémon, teach them moves via TM, and generally try to have a spread of types in your party.

Aaron isn't the most difficult of champion Trainers, given he's the first you take on, but you'll still need to be careful of his Drapion, as it has four very strong moves.

Heracross can also prove to be a handful, while Bug-types in general often inflict negative statuses.

Rock moves will devastate Beautifly, while Fire, Electric, Ice, and Flying moves also help.

It is immune to Ground-type moves.

Vespiquen
