After a summer without much Pokémon news, it was just a matter of time before Nintendo announced another Direct-like broadcast.
Pokémon Presents will take place next Wednesday (August 18) at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm BST and will last roughly half an hour, featuring all three major games coming to the series.
These include the Diamond and Pearl remakes - titled Brilliant Diamond Shining Pearl - as well as a brand new type of game, Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
It is the first action role-playing game in the main series, and is set in the Sinnoh region. It is a companion title to Diamond and Pearl, set long before the events of those Fourth Generation games.
Pokémon will be able to be captured directly in the game world, instead of having to battle like in usual main-series games. It will also have different starters from different generations available at the start -- Cyndaquil (Gold & Silver), Oshawott (Black & White), and Rowlet (Sun & Moon).
Little else is known, but it makes sense that Diamond and Pearl would be remade alongside it.
