Players can now return to Generation IV's Sinnoh region in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, full remakes of the classics originally released in 2007.
As a little bonus, players who have save data from previous Nintendo Switch Pokémon releases will be able to pick up a fantastic pair of Mythical Pokémon.
Here's how.
How to get Mew in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
In order to get Mew for free, you'll need to have save data from Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon Let's Go, Eevee! on your Nintendo Switch console.
Then, head to Floaroma Town and look for the Elderly Woman in the the field full of flowers, to the west of the town's entrance.
She'll give you Mew as a reward for playing Let's Go.
How to get Jirachi in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
In order to get Jirachi for free, you'll need to have save data from Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield on your Nintendo Switch console.
Then, head to Floaroma Town and look for the Elderly Man in the the field full of flowers, to the west of the town's entrance.

Be mindful that neither Pokémon can come in their shiny forms, and neither can be bred in the nursery.
