We're probably in the most labyrinthine area of Final Fantasy VII Remake, but you'll see, it's not so complicated. In fact, if you want to make sure you don't get lost and miss anything, several visual clues should help you during your exploration of the slum: the cables running along the railings are different colors, depending on the area you're in.
Similarly, the letters and numbers of the areas should help you see more clearly in this little maze. Please note, though, that one of the best Materia in the game is in this chapter: Elemental Materia
Materia
Elemental Materia
You will soon see it as you advance through the area and it's even the subject of a side quest. Finally, you will only be able to access it towards the end of the exploration of this zone, when you will have to go and turn off the third sun. Before you go up to activate the switch of the latter, you will see that it's possible to go down, but be careful, on this lower floor, two Queen Grashtrikes will block your access to the Materia: it's time to slap all your MPs in ice spells, they are scrappy opponents!
MP Up Materia
This one is out of reach. After the second sun has gone out and as you head towards the third, pay close attention to what's around you on the lower floors, until you find a control console for a removable catwalk just above your head. Lower it down to reach the Materia.

Ennemies
Choco/Mog Summon
Just before leaving for the Mako reactor, don't forget to go to the room unblocked by the restored power, just to the right of the main elevator: this little side phase will simply allow you to retrieve the only truly hidden summon of the game, Chocobo & Moogle.
Once all your objectives have been accomplished, head for the elevator leading to Reactor 5 where the fearsome mechanical boss of the Shinra, Air Buster awaits you.
