As the wielder of a giant sword, Cloud is a powerful warrior. He also happens to be the main man in Final Fantasy VII Remake, when it comes to combat skills. He hits hard, has the widest range of attacks, and even has an automatic counter-attack when he guards while in Punisher Mode.
In Remake, you can upgrade your weapons with Skill Points, (SP). You can assign them separately for each weapon, modifying its attributes as you see fit, or you can choose one of the three automatic upgrade presets.
In this article we will detail all of Cloud's weapons, where to find them, and all the Cores available — including what they offer in terms of hard statistics.
Note that if you have missed acquiring any weapons during a chapter of the game, you'll have to wait until the Chapter Select becomes available after you complete the game.
