Final Fantasy 7 Remake Chapter 9 Walkthrough: A Dynamite Body Sidequest

After completing the Burning Thighs quest, as well as The Party Never Stops, Cloud can complete a final quest before going to find Aerith in Chapter 9 of Final Fantasy VII Remake.

NOTE: Your choices in Wall Market depend on which set of side-quests you get. You will either receive The Party Never Stops and Dynamite Body, OR you will get The Price of Thievery and Shears' Counterattack. In order to unlock the Best in the Business trophy, you will need to replay this chapter twice once you unlock Chapter Select.

Here are the choices you should make in order to have access to this side quest:

  • Respond to Sam at the start of the chapter that Tifa is in great physical shape. “She’s in great Shape”
  • Follow Johnny in the Wall Market and talk to him, answer "Yeah".
  • In Wall Market, talk to the guy standing in front of the hotel, select dialogue “How much?”
  • Then talk to hotel receptionist, select dialogue “Yes".
  • When Sam does the coin flip, answer "no deal".
  • Choose the 100 gil massage option at Madame M.
  • Respond to Aerith that her outfit “It’s alright”
  • Complete The Party Never Stops & Burning Thighs side quest

A Dynamite Body

  • Quest Giver: Sam
  • Area: Sector 6 Slums – Wall Market

This quest is very direct. Speak to Sam at the entrance to the city, then return to the depths of the Colosseum. Speak to the organizer and select the special match to gain access to quest-related combat. We advise you to equip an Elemental Materia of any type except Fire, as well as one of Healing, in order to be able to manage the combat. Your opponents are 2 Bombs who like to rush at you and bombard you with fireballs. It will be necessary to have a good timing on the dodges to cast spells, or to then attack in melee. Surprisingly, these enemies are not vulnerable to ice, and they are very mobile, spells of this type are therefore to be avoided because of the delay between their launch and their activation.
