Alolan Ninetales is an Attack Pokémon based on the principle of interrupting opponents by freezing them. Its Unite Move, Snow Globe is an attack that creates a blizzard to deal damage to opponents.
While Ninetales is useful for slowing opponents, damage output remains the priority. The Muscle Band and Float Stone combine well to maximise getting into offensive positions.
Given how squishy Attackers tend to be, the Eject Button choice of Battle Item will help you escape when the going gets a bit rough.
Alolan Ninetales: Starting Attack
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Attacks with a gust of freezing air, decreasing the movement speed of opposing Pokémon fro a short time when it hits.
This choice of starter is pretty straightforward, since the on-hit slow will allow Ninetales to chase down fleeing opponents and finish them off.
Alolan Ninetales: Best Moves
This pairing of abilities will lend itself to Ninetales being able to support the team through disables and damage reduction, while still being able to deal considerable damage.
Cooldown: 7.5 seconds
Attacks with a powerful cone of blinding light, leaving opposing Pokémon unable to act when this move hits.
Upgrade at Level 11: Increases damage dealt and the length of time opposing Pokémon are unable to act
Cooldown: 13 seconds
Creates an aurora around the user that reduces damage received by the user and ally Pokémon in the area of effect. Also increases the user's movement speed and makes all of their basic attacks boosted attacks while this move is in effect.
Upgrade at Level 13: Further reduces damage ally Pokémon receive
Alolan Ninetales: Passive Ability
Causes snow to fall on an opposing Pokemon, dealing damage to them and decreasing their movement speed for a short time. Attacks sling snow, and hitting the same target with snow multiple times will freeze them for a short time.
