Here is our complete guide to Eldegoss, a useful Supporter in Pokémon Unite. From best items to the right move choices, our build guide should help you dominate on the field of battle.

Pokémon Unite: Eldegoss Build Guide

One of the most useful Supporters in Pokémon Unite, the healing Pokémon Eldegoss is sure to be a key member of any team. You can purchase it from the store for 6,000 Aeos Coins or 345 Aeos Gems.

Our guide helps you understand Eldegoss' moveset and choose the best abilities as you level up, as well as suggest the best Held Items and Battle Items to equip.

You'll start battles as Gossifleur, evolving into Eldegoss at Level 4.

Eldegoss: Item Choices

These are the items we recommend equipping on Eldegoss before you head into battle.

Be mindful that you can equip up to three Held Items and one Battle Item. All stats are based on items being Level 1, without having been upgraded.

Held Items

Exp. Share

HP +16 (+240)
Movement Speed 0 (+150)

While the Pokémon has the fewest Exp. Points on its team, it gains 2 Ex. Points per second. However, it will no longer receive shared Exp. Points when its teammates defeat wild Pokémon.

Buddy Barrier

HP +600

When the Pokémon uses its Unite Move, that Pokémon and the nearby ally Pokémon with the lowest HP are each granted a shield equal to 20% of their max HP.

Shell Bell

Sp. Atk +1.6
Move Cooldown 0%

When the Pokémon hits with a move, it recovers a minimum of 45 HP. The higher the Pokémon's Sp. Atk, the more HP it recovers.

Battle Item

Eject Button

Cooldown: 55 seconds

Quickly moves your Pokémon in the designated direction.

Quite simply, Eldegoss is the best Supporter in the game for its healing capabilities. Given your role is to protect your team rather than do damage, you can quickly fall back on levels - so the Exp. Share is crucial.

Shell Bell is good for sustain, allowing you to recover your own HP, while Buddy Barrier is a fantastic Unite move to have for when those team battles get rough. You'll also want to use the Eject Button is a necessity for any squishy Pokémon.

Eldegoss: Starting Attack

Leafage

Cooldown: 6 seconds

Pelts the target with leaves, decreasing the movement speed of opposing Pokémon for a short time when it hits.

Leafage is the ideal starting move as it will aid your team in chasing down opponents early on, thanks to its added slow.

Eldegoss: Best Moves

Your moveset is all about those heals. Pollen Puff is the only healing choice among R moves and can also be applied to enemies to debuff them, while we've gone with Cotton Guard for the ZR move due to it being a heal, shield, and move speed buff in one.

While Synthesis is also a heal, it requires you to stick to your teammates for it to be effective, and that added utility from Cotton Guard is lost.

Pollen Puff

Cooldown: 4 seconds

Throws a Pollen Puff, which attaches to a Pokémon. The Pollen Puff restores HP for ally Pokémon and deals damage to opposing Pokémon.

Upgrade at Level 11: In addition, while a Pollen Puff is attached to them, opposing Pokémon receive damage over time and ally Pokémon recieve less damage.

Cotton Guard

Level 6

Protects the user and nearby ally Pokémon with cotton. The cotton absorbs damage, and when the move ends, the cottton restores some HP

Upgrade at Level 13: Increases the user's movement speed while using this move.

Eldegoss: Passive Ability

Cotton Down

Damages an opponent and decreases their movement speed for a short time after the Pokémon with this Ability receives a certain amount of damage. When that happens, the Pokémon also recovers HP and has its movememnt speed increased for a short time.
