When it was announced, the episodic format of Final Fantasy VII Remake worried a lot of people. But today, it seems that the Midgar lore has been extended exponentially in order to offer a 'complete' title.
Content is so dense that Tetsuya Nomura even had to reduce it, according to his statements on the official Square Enix blog. But there is no reason to worry about the game's lifetime.
Mr. Nomura also confirmed that work had already begun on the second chapter of Cloud's adventures. The first episode will also enjoy new boss encounters.
The first episode of Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be released on April 10, 2020 on PlayStation 4.
