The Japanese box art for Final Fantasy VII Remake indicates that 100GB will be needed to install the game, covering two Blu-Ray discs. Given the scale and the visuals we have seen so far, that doesn't seem surprising to us at all.
It's important to note that this is not necessarily the actual size of the game, but the capacity you will need to have available when you install it.
Final Fantasy VII Remake joins a very select club of games this generation to be shipped on two discs, with only Red Dead Redemption 2 the other member.
It's also worth remembering that the edition of Final Fantasy VII Remake arriving in April only covers the Midgar arc of the original game, albeit in a more expanded form.
Remake has not yet been given gold status, meaning it's still in development — and it's not yet confirmed whether this leak of the box art is even authentic.
Final Fantasy VII Remake comes to PlayStation 4 as a one-year timed exclusive on April 10, 2020.
