Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Square Enix asks players to avoid posting spoilers

The coronavirus continues to shake up distribution channels and publishers' plans, and now Square Enix is the latest to fall victim with early shipments of Final Fantasy VII Remake in Europe and Australia.

After the leak of the PS4 demo last December, the publisher made the decision to anticipate the shipment of Final Fantasy VII: Remake to Europe and Australia, well before the release — still planned on April 10. In a new press release published on the official SE Twitter account, the publisher asks those who already played it not to spoil anything.

Square Enix isn't the only one to suffer the hazards of distribution caused by confinement, as the release of Resident Evil 3 is also affected.
