Given its size and budget, it's not surprising to see Final Fantasy VII Remake planned for a release on other platforms once its one-year exclusivity on PS4 expires.
In a video from producer Yoshinori Kitase thanking fans for waiting for the game, footage is shown of the game. Nothing out of the ordinary here, except for the caption — 'Gameplay captured on PC'.
Naturally, we'll wait for official confirmation from Square Enix, but many fans will relish the prospect of seeing this game on a platform that can let it "breathe".:
Although a stunning game visually, Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS4 suffers from problems loading textures and models. While not enough to spoil the experience, it was enough to leave us disappointed.
