Althoug the leak has not yet been confirmed by Niantic, a whole new set of abilities should soon join the kits of certain Pokémon — according to information datamined from the game files.
To be more precise, these are skills that are already known in other titles in the franchise, but were previously unavailable in Pokémon GO — and they are set to shake up the game's PvP metagame, if deployed soon.
Here is the list of potential moves your Pokémon may soon learn, as well as their effects in the vast majority of previous Pokémon games.
Superpower
Inflicts damage, then lowers the Attack and Defense stat of the user.
Earth Power
Inflicts damage, and has a 10% chance of lowering the user's Special Defense.
Lunge
Inflicts damage, and lowers the target's Attack.
Fell Stinger
Inflicts damage, and can increase the user's Attack.
Leech Life
Inflicts damage, and up to 50% of the damage is restored as HP.
Drain Punch
Inflicts damage, and up to 50% of the damage is restored as HP.
Skull Bash
Charges for 1 turn, then inflicts damage.
Crabhammer
Inflicts damage, with a higher chance of a Critical Hit.
Crush Claw
Inflicts damage, and has a 50% chance of lowering target's Defense.
Mirror Shot
Inflicts damage, and has a 30% change of lowering the target's Accuracy.
Shadow Bone
Inflicts damage, and has a 20% chance of lowering the target's Defense.
Octazooka
Inflicts damage, and has a 50% chance of lowering the target's Accuracy.
Razor Shell
Inflicts damage, and has a 50% chance of lowering the target's Defense.
Muddy Water
Inflicts damage, and has a 30% chance of lowering the target's Accuracy.
Blaze Kick
Inflicts damage, with a higher chance of a Critical Hit. Also has a 10% chance of burning the target.
