Slakoth was chosen to have its own special day on June 8, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
It was a true Pokemon for the occasion, because with the hot weather that comes with summer, we only want to relax in the sun while playing Pokemon GO!
Unfortunately, Community Day was disrupted in Europe due to a problem with the game's weather functionality. The spawn rate of Slakoth was greatly impacted, and trainers weren't able to take advantage of the event as usual — wasting lures and other items designed to optimize their day.
The good news is that Niantic quickly responded to the discontent, promising three days of compensation. They have also now confirmed that these will take place July 4-7.
As with before, Slakoth will appear more in the wild, as well as in Shiny Form, and Slaking can earn the special move Body Slam under the same conditions. In short, it's a repeat of June's Community Day!
As usual, it will be a race against time to catch as many Slakoth as possible and make them evolve.
Note that 3-hour Lures will be available specifically for the event, as well as Eggs that hatch quicker (25% distance to be covered).
The special attack Slaking will be able to obtain during the event (or up to one hour after the end) is Body Slam.
