If you were looking for more Candies, you are in luck. A new event called "Special Raid Weekend" is coming to Pokémon GO and it will allow trainers to earn bonus Candy when catching a creature.
The event will start on June 12, at 10:00 am and it will end the following day, at 8:00 pm local time. Also, raids will be more frequent, so don't loose your chance.

- Earn twice the Candy for catching Pokémon
- Trainers level 40 and above will have three times the chance to obtain Candy XL from catching Pokémon
- Raids will be happening more frequently, including five-star raids and Mega Raids
It's worth mentioning that some Pokémon, such as Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, will be in raids even after the event is finished. This will happen until June 17, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
The new edition of Pokémon GO Fest will feature a ton of special appearances, global challenges, many options regarding music and more. It will take place between July 17 and 18.
Slowpoke, Galarian Slowpoke, Mega Slowbro, and Galarian Slowbro will be the main attraction of this new Pokémon GO event, which starts on June 8.
