Yesterday announced the arrival of a release date for Pokémon Unite on Switch and mobile, alongside a new gameplay trailer.
The trailer doesn't reveal much about any new Pokémon in the game, but with the official release on Switch and mobile a while away, there may be more revealed.
How to Play Pokémon Unite
In Pokémon Unite, you find yourself on the island of Æos to participate in battles. The island increases the power of Pokémon. In a 5v5 battle, you’ll need to beat your opponents by collecting and evolving your Pokémon, and defeating your opponent’s Pokémon.
When you start the battle with a Pokémon you'll start the game with the unevolved version of the Pokémon you select, and level up throughout the match.
Held Items and Battle Items
Held Items provide bonus stats, such as Crit Chance, HP, and even Attack, while Battle Items act almost like summoner spells.
Of course, there will be rewards for playing and fighting like clothes, items or even virtual currency that can be used in the game store.
