GTA 3 is often just as much about breaking rules as following them, and that's no different for gameplay.
Sometimes, you'll just want to cut corners and gain access to the best weapons and cars without going through the hassle. As such, there exists a whole range of cheat codes you can use.
Be mindful, however, that in the original versions using these codes could lead to corrupted save files. It's unclear if this will still be the case in the new GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition, but you're still using these at your own risk.
It is also confirmed that these codes disable obtaining trophies, so you will need to load a save from before using the codes if you want to obtain them after cheating.
