When the level of trolling players is at this ridiculous level, is there really any need to keep records? Probably not no, but it's still quite fascinating how quickly things can turn sour for big publishers when they don't align with their players' expectations. We are not going to redo the drawing, GTA Trilogy is not up to the monuments it contains and it is a no-brainer that we are bringing you out there. Grove Street Games' game situation is at least as delicate as those of No Man's Sky, or more recently Cyberpunk 2077: the game is buggy, refund requests abound on Rockstar's support account, and even though the games are (finally) back on PC, technical blunders are still present and are starting to be corrected by modders.
As usual, players have made their voices heard by engaging in review bombing on the Metacritic test aggregator, which currently has the lowest user score in its history, with a nice 0.5/10, the worst ever seen to date. Ironically, this is just less than another remaster that has also had to endure the wrath of the community: that good old Warcraft 3 Reforged and its launch at least as catastrophic. We hope that Grove Street Games will succeed in rectifying the situation with big blows of saving corrective patches, but as with the cursed work of CD Projekt Red, the site seems so massive, that it is probably better not to count on it.
