A new family of Pokémon are joining the Shiny club! Soon Trainers will be able to own Electrike and its evolution, Manectric, in the coveted rare form.

It's back to school for many Trainers, and that means the end of summer too. However, Niantic have an electrifying surprise with two new Pokemon joining the exclusive Shiny Form list.

The release of Electrike and Manectric comes alongside an all-new set of Research Breakthroughs — which could net you a new Spinda form or even a Flower Crown Eevee!

Electrike is best found in urban and industrial areas, so make sure to check them out if you want the best chance of a spawn!
