Runes

Conqueror is by far the best rune for Kai'Sa. It gives her the opportunity to inflict heavy damage in fights against multiple enemies. Gathering Storm gives you strong scaling into the late game, allowing you to transition into a hyper carry after 15 minutes.

Loyalty is a great pickup for life in the bottom lane, as the rune will improve your support's defence, as well as your own.

Sweet Tooth in blue is a very effective rune for medium-range AD Carries, which Kai'Sa undoubtedly is. This rune spawns fruits next to your tower, giving you greater sustain which will come in handy during those difficult laning phases.
