Just picked up Riven in Wild Rift and need a few pointers?

Runes

Riven is a bruiser with great mobility and potential for long trades in lane, thanks to short cooldowns. The Conqueror rune is ideal in both lane and in teamfights.

In red, we've opted for the Brutal rune, a common choice among physical damage-dealing toplaners, and is set up for early trades.

In green, Bone Plating gives you sustain in shorter trades, which you'll encounter more of given your mobility.

Finally, the Mastermind rune in blue is great for champions who plan to splitpush, such as Riven.

• Riven is a mechanically complex champion, who demands mastery of auto-attacking as part of the Broken Wings sequence - one after each part of the chain.
• The third slash of Broken Wings is a jump, which can be used to get over the thinner walls on the map. Use this to your advantage, both to close gaps and escape.
