The COVID-19 outbreak is still heavily impacting planning for esports events. Governments from around the world are taking measures to protect populations and avoid the propagation of the virus.

So far, many events have been either delayed or cancelled in order to follow health regulations.

E3 2020 has officially been cancelled

Following the cancellation of GDC and several other gaming events due to the coronavirus outbreak, E3 was under pressure to clarify its position. Following rumours all day, an official announcement confirming these rumours has been released by the Electronic Software Association.
